FOLKE ARMY was founded in 2010 by Arran Russell and Jacqui Lewis, who independently and together have founded 13 of their own successful brands. A lean and agile business model, FOLKE ARMY employs only the very best creative required for a project, without a large group of staff kicking around that clients fund. We hand pick only the best creative and clients to work with, following our philosophy of High Grade and that success is as much as what you say no to as to what you say yes to.
We create cult brands that leverage the current trends and time in which they can flourish, whilst ensuring they have longevity, and enough flex for growth. A brand is not just your logo or a slogan or a sweet looking business card. It’s the gut feeling people have about your brand, it’s an emotional reaction. Brands form and identity for an individual and successful brands build into a community on a micro and macro level.
We work in a range of ways. We create brands from the ground up, from the Strategy to the Creative Direction. Through Art Direction to Graphic Design. Product Design and Garment Design and Development. Integrating Retail Systems and launching to market is what we specialise in.
We also operate as guns for hire, essentially consultants that step in to iron things out. Sometimes this is on a six or twelve-month strategy campaign, or it might be for a workshop over a few hours to brainstorm and work out game plans.
