A range of posters Arran Created for Marshall Artists, Although this wasn’t produced through FOLKE ARMY we still feel like it should be added in our portfolio as it shows a complete naive and undiluted approach to poster design for a clothing brand. These where made in a time when the brand could not afford to produce look books so these posters where designed and pasted up over the streets of London in the early 2000’s. Unfortunately Arran did not keep hard copies of these or even document them.
Marshall Artist was one of the UK’s favoured menswear brands. Arran created Marshall Artist in 2001 while living in London. The brands focus was on graphic design tee prints, which developed into a full collection. It quickly became a cult brand available in London’s Jones and Selfridges, Colette in Paris, Ships in Japan,
Barneys in New York and over 150 other stores globally.
