Rosemont Hall built in 1924 has hand many different business in its time and most recently was divided into three retail spaces which has now converted into a large dining precinct that houses Sunnys Shop a casual South East Asian eatery focusing on fast eating in the lane way or foot path to feel like the streets of Bangkok.
Mr Chan is a Chinese restaurant with a traditional Chinese menu without the traditional Chinese restaurant fit out, The brief was to have the feeling of an old school Chinese restaurant that was fondly remembered by the owners when once a week his family would all gather for Chinese together. However it had to be modernised and utilise its natural warehouse beauty and only have a slight touch of Chinese tradition which we developed in the logo design. Rosemont Bar caters drinks for Mr Chan’s clientele and operates as its own bar, We decided to focus on the buildings heritage for bar that blended with the converted warehouse feel.
