Selph is the translation of the hindi word सेल्फ , meaning ‘self’.
The brief was to balance eastern traditional practices with a modern studio for an audience who want a stylish mind body balance in their practitioners.
The perfect horizontal line that all characters hang from in traditional Hindi typography was a feature I wanted to play with to show the ideal positioning of the body and spine carried through in Selph studio’s practices of chiropractor & Yoga.
